yeah, my parents washer did the funky smell thing!! They got a new one from Warranty and don't have problems now they do this...The key is to take clothes out right away, and shoot some febreeze in the front area, before and after wash.. Most important leave Washer door open for awhile to air and dry out.
Hope your washer makers it! As for the funky smell...don't leave clothes in it for days and leave the door opened or cracked...especially if you live where its humid! Good Luck!

I so want a front-loader washer! When we moved the house came with a washer and dryer and we already had a set. I'm trying to convince Hubby to hook up both so I can have my own little laundromat. :)
